Our speaker: Downtown Marion, Inc Manager, Allen Wilson

Allen Wilson is lifetime Marion resident. He graduated from River Valley High School/Tri-Rivers in 2008. As the new Downtown Marion Manager, he is most excited to use his knowledge and volunteer experience to bring creative ideas to assist in the growth of Downtown. Some of his volunteer hours consist of serving over 20 years with Salvation Army, Red Cross, and events in Downtown Marion. He lives in downtown with his fiancé Megan, and his son Joshua and at the end of September their son Finn. “The growth in downtown over the last five years has been amazing and I can’t wait to share some of the great things about Downtown Marion, Inc.”

Kiwanis Pancake Day

It’s  Marion Tradition! The Marion Noon Kiwanis Pancake Day will be held Saturday, March 11 2023, 7am to 2pm at Tri-Rivers Career Center. The event, along with offering all the pancakes you can eat along with sausage, juice, milk and coffee, also showcases local talent throughout the day. “It is definitely a gathering of friends and family,” said Christy Neff, club president. “We hold it each year to raise funds for area children’s groups and youth scholarships.
