Bob Goyer will be our speaker, Thursday, Nov. 10. As the Community Relations Director of Kingston Residence of Marion for the past 5 years, Bob advises families about the effects of memory loss and the stress and challenges that they face. Bob will share about what dementia is, the common types of memory loss, caregiving, home safety and managing problems associated with memory loss. Bob is a life-long resident of Marion and has been married 45 years to Connie. They have 2 adult children and 3 grandchildren. Bob and Connie currently live in and are restoring the historic Huber home located on the corner of E. Church St. and Greenwood St. Previously they developed the “Uhler Building.” Marion Noon Kiwanis meets in Marion Public Library, 445 E. Church Street, 11:30am.
