Join us for lunch at 11:30am and to hear Emeline Kelly, Director of Nursing and Public Safety for Tri-Rivers. Kelly will talk about Health Careers, Tri-Rivers Success Center and how Tri-Rivers Career Center and the Center For Adult Education have created a Health Careers Academy for high school students that will allow them to seamlessly continue into the Adult Health Care programs.
Kelly received her Diploma of Nursing from Mansfield General School of Nursing, then her Bachelors of Science of Nursing from Ashland, followed by her Masters of Science in Nursing from Otterbein and is currently a candidate for her Doctor of Nursing Practice from the University of Cincinnati.
She has an extensive teaching background, as well has experience in curriculum development. She implemented the Online Learning Courses and developed, initiated and administered the Student Success Center at the Tri-Rivers School of Nursing. She also works at Marion General Hospital as the House Supervisor. Her volunteer work includes: Advisory Committee member for Marion Technical College; NCSBN, item write and judge; preceptor for Ohio State University and Chamberlain College—BSN and MSN students; participant in the field test of newly written items for Clinical Nurse Specialist exam and participated in credit affirmation for Health Programs offered in one year technical centers (OTC) through the Ohio Board of Regents.
