Club’s donation supports “Right to Read”
Marion Noon Kiwanis donated funds to help assure that each student at Benjamin Harrison School received a book during Right to Read Week. Kiwanis President Dean Jacob and Board Member Debbie Rush represented our club in a presentation to Principal Leah Filliater. The 467 books were distributed on Sept. 26. Rush, a Farmers Insurance Agent, also donated funds supporting the effort.
Kiwanians assist Habitat for Humanity Project
Six Kiwanis members and two members' spouses recently volunteered their time to put two coats of paint on a total of 694 linear feet of trim for the Habitat for Humanity house on State Street. "We have 756 linear feet of trim left and tentatively are targeting July 30 to complete the project," said Dave Wilhelm. Watch for more opportunities

Marion Noon Kiwanis has moved its meetings to the Marion Public Library, 445 E. Church St, Marion, OH on a temporary basis through the September 8, 2016 meeting. Representatives of the Leadership Marion Class of 2016 shared the details of their class project—Restoring the Glory of Lincoln Field, at the Thursday, April 28 meeting.
